About Us

April Sanchez, Personal Trainer




As a real estate professional, personal trainer, and the mother of two young boys, (and caregiver to two dogs), I understand how hard it is for people to lead a healthy life while working and raising families. As a White Rock Marathon participant for the last few years, I have learned a lot about strength training and how it affects your body. In other words, the stronger your core is, the stronger the rest of you can become. I am a true believer in “if you believe it, you will achieve it.” I don’t believe in or practice radical diets because THEY DO NOT WORK! The best way to get in shape and lose weight is to consume a NORMAL healthy diet along with regular exercise. I believe in the buddy system and encourage everyone to find a buddy. Whether it’s your trainer or your best friend, your buddy should be the person that encourages you and does everything in their power to help you reach your fitness and life goals.

 

The personal training/boot camp classes I conduct will challenge you. They will push you to limits you never thought you could reach…and you will thank me in the end. I am constantly striving to learn new ways to help clients reach their goals. I look forward to working with you all!

Through personal experience, I believe that living a fit lifestyle tests one’s resolve, motivation and commitment to change. It incites the passion that lies within each of us to be the best that we can be, both physically and mentally.

 

My interest for personal training began five years ago after I made a personal dedication to a new lifestyle. It was then that I came to the realization that I wanted to help others achieve their personal goals.

 

As a Certified Personal Trainer, my goal is to motivate each individual to live a fit lifestyle by designing training programs that are unique to fit one’s own needs. My methods of training include: teaching safe and  effective exercise techniques, encouraging better nutrition habits, and helping each individual to have a positive self image My areas of expertise include: Personalized Fitness Training, Weight Management, Sport Specific Training, Injury Rehabilitation, Plyometrics, Adult and Youth Training, and CPR/ First Aid. I have extensive experience working with individuals varying in ages 13 to 74 and have had great success.

 

My commitment for fitness endures my hunger for knowledge to keep up with changes in the industry. Teamwork and motivation are the keys to great achievements.

I believe that fitness is more than just a one hour a day program, but a way of life.  "It is something that you should think about from the moment you wake up until the time your head hits the pillow at night.  “It is your body, your mind, and your health…"   I love my job as a personal trainer because there are no boundaries for myself, or my clients.  "People can always improve and everyone needs to be challenged. That is what keeps us all going."  My fitness training structure is built on innovation, dedication, and passion.  Furthermore, I am confident that this mindset will not only continue to propel me in my goals,  but will also empower the society in which we reside.
